App Permissions

Revert requests only the permissions necessary for specific features. You can grant or revoke any permission at any time in your device Settings.

Used for Voice Mode and voice-to-text keyboard input. Voice is processed locally and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers in raw form.

Section 04

Security Practices

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data at every layer.

Encryption in Transit
All data transmitted between the App and our servers uses TLS 1.3 encryption. Data sent to third-party APIs (e.g. Rev AI) is also transmitted over encrypted connections.

On-Device Encryption
Data stored on your device (including AI memory and voice fingerprint) is protected by your device's hardware encryption. We rely on iOS Secure Enclave and Android Keystore.

No Data Selling
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party under any circumstances. Your data is used only to provide and improve Revert's services.

No Advertising
Revert contains no advertisements. We do not share your data with advertisers, ad networks, or marketing platforms of any kind.

Rev AI Enterprise Agreement
Our use of the Rev AI engine is governed by an enterprise data processing agreement under which Rev AI does not use Revert user data to train its models.

Minimal Data Collection
We apply strict data minimisation. We collect only what is necessary, process as much as possible on-device, and purge data on an automated schedule.

Your Controls & Privacy Settings

You are in control. Access all privacy settings from within the App.

    Permanently deletes your account and all associated personal data from our servers within 30 days.

    Clears all on-device AI personalisation data, conversation memory, and learned preferences.

    Opt out of all anonymous usage analytics. This does not affect any App functionality.

    Download a copy of all personal data associated with your account in a machine-readable format.

Grievance Mechanism

We take data concerns seriously. Here's how to reach us.

Step 1 — Submit a request
Email privacy@gorevert.com with your concern. Please include your account email (if applicable) and a description of the issue. We respond within 5 business days for most requests.

Step 2 — Grievance Officer (if unresolved)
If you are not satisfied with our response, escalate to our Grievance Officer:

We will acknowledge your grievance within 3 days and resolve it within 30 days as mandated by the IT Act, 2000.

Step 3 — Regulatory Authority
If you remain unsatisfied, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India (once constituted under the DPDP Act, 2023) or to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
