This Privacy Policy ("Policy") governs the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of information by Abiomye Industries Private Limited (trading as Revert) ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at 56, Sector 2, IIE SIDCUL, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India - 249403.
This Policy applies to the Revert mobile application ("App"), available on iOS and Android platforms, and all related services, features, and content offered through the App. By downloading, installing, or using Revert, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, you must immediately uninstall the App and cease all use of our services.
This Policy is published in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
Scope of This Policy
This Policy covers:
- The Revert iOS app (available on Apple App Store)
- The Revert Android app (available on Google Play Store)
- The Revert AI keyboard extension (iOS and Android)
- The Revert companion features including Walk & Learn, AR Lenses, Voice Mode, Health Insights, and Rev Chat
- Our website at gorevert.com
- All email and support communications with our team
This Policy does not cover third-party services, websites, or applications that you may access through links within our App. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.
Data We Collect
We collect the minimum data necessary to provide our services. All data collection is governed by the principles of purpose limitation, data minimisation, and storage limitation.
3.1 Account Data (Optional)
If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address and display name. Account creation is entirely optional. Core App features are available without an account. Account data is used solely for authentication, account recovery, and service communications.
3.2 Device Identifiers
We collect anonymous device identifiers (non-advertising identifiers) for the sole purpose of crash reporting and stability diagnostics. These identifiers cannot be used to identify you personally and are processed only to improve App reliability.
3.3 Anonymous Usage Analytics
We collect aggregate, anonymised usage data (such as feature interaction counts, session duration, and error rates) to understand how users engage with the App and to prioritise improvements. This data is stripped of all personally identifiable information before processing.
3.4 Location Data — Walk & Learn Feature Only
Location data is collected only when you explicitly activate the Walk & Learn feature. Location is used in real-time to provide contextual information about your surroundings. Location data is never stored on our servers, never associated with your account, and is discarded immediately after the active session ends. You may revoke location permission at any time in your device settings.
3.5 Camera Access — AR Lenses Feature Only
Camera access is requested only when you activate an AR Lens. Camera frames are processed on-device and, where complex AI processing is required, transmitted to our AI provider in an encrypted form. No camera images, frames, or video are stored on our servers. Camera access requires your explicit permission and can be revoked at any time.

On-Device Processing — Your Privacy by Design
Revert is built with a privacy-first architecture. The following data is processed exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers:
5.1 Voice Fingerprint
Your voice characteristics used for voice recognition and the Voice Mode feature are computed and stored exclusively on your device. This data exists only in your device's local storage and is deleted when you reset the App or uninstall it.
5.2 Health Data
Any health-related data processed by Revert's health companion features (such as Apple HealthKit or Google Health Connect data) is processed and displayed entirely on-device. Health data is never uploaded to our servers. We comply with Apple HealthKit data usage guidelines and Google Health Connect policies.
5.3 AI-Generated Replies
Contextual AI keyboard replies and suggestions are generated primarily using on-device AI models. For complex queries requiring cloud AI processing, only the minimum necessary context is transmitted (see Section 6), and no conversational history is retained on our servers beyond the immediate request.
5.4 Keyboard Input
Text typed using the Revert keyboard is processed entirely on-device. Keyboard input is never logged, never transmitted, and never stored by us. This is a fundamental architectural commitment.
Third-Party Services
6.1 Rev AI engine
For certain AI features (including complex AR Lens analysis and advanced companion queries), we use the Rev AI engine under an enterprise data processing agreement. When data is sent to Rev AI: (a) it is transmitted via encrypted connection; (b) Rev AI does not use this data to train its models under our enterprise agreement; (c) data is deleted after the API request is fulfilled; and (d) no persistent user profiles are created by Rev AI based on your usage of Revert.
6.2 Apple Inc.
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple may collect device and usage data subject to Apple's own privacy policy. On-device AI features on iOS may use Apple's proprietary models (Apple Intelligence). Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's privacy policy available at apple.com/privacy.
6.3 Google LLC
The App is distributed through the Google Play Store. Google Play Services, Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting), and on-device Gemini Nano models may be used. Google's data collection is governed by Google's privacy policy available at policies.google.com/privacy.
6.4 Liability Disclaimer for Third-Party Services
REVERT EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY for the data practices, security failures, breaches, outages, or any other acts or omissions of third-party service providers including but not limited to Rev AI, Apple, Google, or any other third party. The inclusion of any third-party service in our App does not constitute an endorsement of that party's privacy practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to those third parties' terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your interaction with third-party services.
Your Rights Under the DPDP Act, 2023
As a Data Principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
Right to Access
You have the right to obtain a summary of personal data we process about you and information about the processing activities undertaken with your personal data. Submit a request to privacy@gorevert.com.
Right to Correction and Erasure
You have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data, and the right to request erasure of personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. You may delete your account and all associated data directly from Settings → Privacy → Delete Account, or by contacting privacy@gorevert.com.
Right to Grievance Redressal
You have the right to have your grievances addressed by us in a timely manner. Please contact our Grievance Officer (see Section 12).
Right to Nominate
You have the right to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
Right to Withdraw Consent
Where processing is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legality of processing prior to withdrawal. To withdraw consent or opt out of analytics, go to Settings → Privacy → Analytics.

When you delete your account, we will delete all personally identifiable data associated with your account within 30 days of your request, except where retention is required by applicable law.
Children's Privacy
Revert is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through our App, please contact us immediately at privacy@gorevert.com. Upon verification, we will promptly delete any such data.
For users between 13 and 18, we recommend parental guidance. The DPDP Act, 2023 requires verifiable parental consent for processing personal data of minors. We take commercially reasonable steps to prevent collection of data from minors.
Limitation of Liability
PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT SIGNIFICANTLY LIMITS OUR LIABILITY.
10.1 AI-Generated Content
Revert expressly disclaims all liability for the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated content produced by Revert. AI outputs are generated probabilistically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, offensive, or inappropriate. You assume all risk for any action taken in reliance on AI-generated content.
10.2 Third-Party Service Failures
We are not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from the failure, unavailability, breach, or malfunction of any third-party service including but not limited to Rev AI, Apple, Google, or telecommunications providers.
10.3 Device Data Loss
We are not liable for any loss of data stored on your device, including on-device voice fingerprints, AI memory, or personalisation data resulting from device failure, theft, loss, software updates, or any other cause.
10.4 User Assumption of Risk
You expressly acknowledge and agree that your use of AI suggestions, health features, navigation features, and communication assistance features of Revert is entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for exercising independent judgment before acting on any output of the App.
10.5 Maximum Aggregate Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the aggregate liability of Revert for any and all claims arising out of or in connection with this Privacy Policy shall not exceed INR 1,000 (Indian Rupees One Thousand only), regardless of the nature of the claim, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000, the DPDP Act, 2023, and all applicable rules and regulations thereunder.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Policy, or any breach thereof, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India. You hereby irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to such venue.
The arbitration provisions set forth in our Terms of Service also apply to disputes relating to this Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email (if you have an account). The "Effective Date" at the top of this Policy reflects the date of the latest update. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
